On Sunday July 16th, Christians from all around Windsor, Ontario and many from Grace Church in Jackson Michigan, gathered at Coventry Gardens in front of the Peace Fountain to worship God and proclaim Jesus Christ, the true Fountain of Peace!
Life-Giver Church led the march as we believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ must never be relegated to the 4 walls of a church building. Windsor, Ontario is in desperate need of peace and as Christians we have a fountain of peace and life dwelling in us.
As our city, and indeed our whole nation, continues to reject God in the public arena, we have made a commitment to swim upstream of the culture. It is a radical position to take in Canada today, but we unashamedly, and unabashedly proclaim, “CHRIST IS THE ANSWER!”
We were blessed to have so many families stop by, listen to God’s Word and be prayed for. We understand that God is pleased to use humble beginnings to do extraordinary things in the world. We hope and pray that this will be just the first seed planted in the hearts of the city of Windsor. Christ is King over Windsor, may HE have dominion here!
